My favourite sports include golf and soccer. I have won several trophies for golf and soccer. Also if i had to choose the one that i like more it have to depend on my mood. Golf is about concentration and being relaxed and you have to know what you are doing. Soccer you have to use use your mind and observation skills to see if the ball is coming to you want to know who you will pass it to. My favourite pro golfers picture and pro soccer players picture will be below. First the golfer than the soccer player.
March 4 2015 Britannia Mines
Yesterday we went to Britannia Mines for a field trip and it was incredible! My favourite part of the field trip was when we went into the mines and it was cold! One of my favourite parts were when the man turned the lights off in the mine and showed us how lighting has changed over the time the mine has been open. We all learned a lot about Acid Rock Drainage (ARD) which after the mine was closed there was a big river with the ARD which had copper in it. It took them quite a while to clean the river and they had to scrub it out. Romeo And Juliet We just saw an incredible play of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare in Mr.Sahota’s grade 6 class. It was very serious because all of there perfect in there character. Josh and Isabelle did great as Romeo and Juliet in the play. Vijay’s part was hilarious because of his voice and he accidently throws the spoon. My favourite scene was the fighting scene because of Ali and Damian looked so intense in the fight. My other favourite scene was when Damian and Mattias were planning to kill Romeo and Mercutio, it was funny on how the way they said they were going to kill them. The Narrator’s and the characters both spoke loud and never really messed up. The ending was really well done with the poison and Juliet killing herself. Issabelle playing Juliet yelled the loudest scream I think I’ve ever heard. Then again this was an amazing performance by all of the characters in the play. The Forbidden City
I am looking forward to seeing the Forbidden City exhibit. I want to see the five toad dragon on the emperors and empresses clothing. I would love to see a throne at the exhibit, I heard there is over 200 objects so it must be interesting. It would be amazing if I could see an artifact that the emperor or empress held in his/her hands. I can’t even believe that these artifacts have never been in Canada before so they must be really special pieces of art. I would really like to see the purple space because it represented the emperor and the North Star. I can’t believe that we are even getting a chance to see these pieces of art. The vase I would like to see because it has the word longevity written so many times on the vase, and that is crazy! Lastly this could be an amazing field trip that is only tomorrow. After The Forbidden City
We went to the Vancouver Art Gallery just yesterday and it was amazing! The clothing was incredible from the empresses dress to the little girls’ outfit to the empresses vest-it was all incredible! Carvings were interesting because you needed a certain piece to get into the palace and swans, elephants, lions were also carved. There was a whole bunch of priceless artifacts, the clothing stood out a lot because of how it was made. The chicken pot really interested me because it cost forty million dollars. Also the vase with “longevity” written on it ten thousand times, that would be very difficult to make it perfect. So I would like to say thank you to Mrs.Nazarchuk, Mrs. While, and Mrs. Cheng for preparation and knowledge you gave to us we are all grateful. Vazzy in New France
I really enjoyed their presentation that they did yesterday it was called Vazzy In New France. I loved how they incorporated the audience into their performance. They had a whole bunch of music that they played with like the guitar, mandolin, lute and a fiddle those are the names I could remember. I really enjoyed the animal song that had all of the sounds of animals and I learned French to which was great. The coolest thing was the jaw harp it made the best sounds ever. I also thought the man did a terrific job playing the fiddle and the guitar it was incredible. The woman playing the spoons was fantastic and never missed a beat doing it. I knew some of the French words that they taught us and some I did not know. They also taught us a dance at the end of their performance, which I could not see but I saw a bit of it. I thought that they were better than most of the other groups that have come to our school. I thought that they did a brilliant job with there performance. |
